This photo of a Pileated Woodpecker was taken by board member Mike Ferraro.

It was shot from a distance of about 100 feet through a Questar scope with a Nikon 950 digital camera held up to the eyepiece.
Mike managed to get a really neat photo despite the fact that the light was poor and the bird never stopped moving.
