A Full Schedule of Fun Events !

July 22 (Thursday) - West Rutland Marsh Monitoring Walk.

This is a monthly bird monitoring exercise.  To date over 1,240 participants have tallied 138 species from American bittern to northern shrike. Meet at the West Rutland Price Chopper parking area at 7 AM.  Leader Roy Pilcher 775-3461.

August 21 (Saturday) - West Rutland Marsh Monitoring Walk.

September 18 (Saturday) - Broad-winged Hawk Watch.

Meet at the parking lot behind the Mobil station in Brandon (next to the Vermont Sandwich Shop) at 9 AM to travel to Mt. Philo State Park ($3 admission). Bring lunch. If the weather is not conducive tohawks, we will tour other hotspots in the Champlain Valley. Leader Roy Pilcher 775-3461.
